Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® was founded on a mission of five basic tenets that have remained unchanged since the sorority’s inception. There are:

• Cultivating high scholastic and ethical standards
• Promoting unity and friendship among college women
• Studying and helping alleviate problems concerning girls and women
• Maintaining a progressive interest in college life
• Being of “Service to All Mankind”

I am a proud Spring 95’ undergraduate initiate of Alpha Iota Chapter (Lincoln University of Missouri) and served as the youngest LUAA (Lincoln University Alumni Association) National Alumni Association President (2018-2021); hail from a sprig of phenomenal Alpha Iota members that served in leadership positions at the international and regional levels and at the Corporate Office; a Silver Star and Life Member; a former two-term Basileus (2012-2015); former Great Lakes Region Investigation/Evaluation member; former Great Lakes Regional Choir member; current member of the National Association of Parliamentarians (Detroit Unit); a Charter Member of Polished Pearls With a Vision Fair and will continue to encourage and foster positive relationships with sorors near and far.

My personal pledge is to engage sorority sisters, friends, and family through positive  and effective communication, transparency, truth and knowledge. I am only as strong as those that I lead and am dedicated to the mission of our beloved sorority. Our founders envisioned pure sisterhood FIRST… LEADING WITH LOVE, EXPRESSING LOVE DAILY, and LOVING in the MIDST of UNDERSTANDING. I stand humbly honored to exhibit this on behalf of our beautiful chapter and sorority.
